AURA by Secure Start – Privacy Policy

AURA by Secure Start is designed to respect your privacy. The app is intentionally built to minimise data collection and to keep all information under your control.
1. Information We Collect
AURA does not require you to create an account or sign in.
AURA does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to the developer or any third party.
The app allows you to optionally enter information for your own use, including:
- Daily task completion (e.g. done / skipped)
- A daily self-rating
- Optional notes
This information is entered solely by you and remains on your device.
2. How Your Data Is Stored
All data entered into AURA is stored locally on your device only.
AURA does not:
- use cloud storage
- upload data to external servers
- sync data across devices
If you delete the app, all stored data is permanently removed from your device.
3. Notifications
AURA uses local notifications to remind users to complete daily tasks and ratings.
- Notifications are generated entirely on your device
- No notification data is transmitted externally
You can enable or disable notifications at any time via your device settings.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
AURA does not:
- collect personal data
- share data with third parties
- sell data
- use advertising services
- use analytics or tracking tools
- use profiling technologies
No user data is transmitted outside of your device by the app.
5. Data Export
AURA allows you to export your data if you choose.
- Exported data is generated locally on your device
- You control where exported files are saved or shared
6. Data Deletion
AURA includes tools that allow you to:
- delete notes
- clear stored entries
- reset all locally stored data
These actions permanently remove data from your device.
7. Children’s Privacy
AURA is intended for carers and adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
If AURA’s data practices change (for example, if optional cloud features are introduced in future versions), this Privacy Policy will be updated.
